Registration deadline: 01/04
Workshop cost: $20.00
The purpose of this workshop is to demonstrate facial expressions
used in ASL to match the intended meaning in English text. Standard
Non-Manual Markers (NMMs) accompanying signs are as much a part
of sign language as are the handshapes, locations or orientation of the
signs. Interpreters will learn about common ASL NMMs that show
meaning in signed messages and how different NMMs can change the
meaning during designed practices.
