House Bill 2472
Hello Interpreters,
Please take a look at this House Bill (Kansas) and if you have any
strong opinions about it let Representative Garcia know. As of now the
SRS including KCDHH does not have any opposition or any strong favor
for this Bill. The only thing I see that it could create duplication
if the KS Dept. of Health and Environment doesn't collaborate with
KCDHH. Luckily they included KCDHH on their advisory council. If the
Bill passes then the Interpreter Representative (Kim Weidler) will sit
