FAQ’s for Online Voting:
Q. Will my vote be anonymous?
A. Only the bylaws committee chair will be tabulating the votes. There
will be no permanent record kept, just the final numbers. The bylaws
will post only the end results of the vote.
Q. What’s the format like?
A. It is a simple response format. A question will be visible on your
screen with two options, either “For” or “Against”. You will click on one
and the survey will take you to the next question. You will continue until
you complete the survey.
Q. Can I get a paper ballot?
A. Yes. If you do not have access to email, receive the e-newsletter, or
have problems opening it, we can send you a paper ballot.
Q. Who do I contact if I can’t open or didn’t receive my online mail
referendum?
A. You would contact Allison Gile, Bylaws Committee Chair at
bylaws@kai-rid.org or by phone at (785) 864-2621.
Q. How does the motion pass?
A. Out of the returned responses, 2/3 of the affirmative vote will
determine the outcome of the vote.
Q. How soon will the results be posted?
A. The final tabulations will be posted for dissemination no later than 45
days after the close of the vote.
