Weaving Common Threads of Diversity Among
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Adolescents Conference
(October 5-8, 2008)
The Weaving Common Threads of Diversity Among Deaf and Hard of
Hearing Adolescents Conference will be held October 5-8, 2008 in St.
Louis at the Crowne Plaza Clayton Hotel. Laurene Simms from
Gallaudet University is scheduled as they keynote presenter.
This conference is being sponsored by the Gallaudet University
Regional Centers, the University of Arkansas Research and
Rehabiltation Training Center on Persons who are Deaf and Hard of
Hearing, and ADARA.
The deadline for the Call for Presenters is February 29, 2008. If you
have an interest in submitting a proposal, you may find the forms at www.
flagler.edu/about_f/gallaudet.html You may also find registration and
hotel reservation forms at this site along with advertising and exhibit
information.
In 2006, we had 200 people attend the conference in Memphis. We are
expecting a larger turnout in St. Louis. If you have questions related to
