TSID/RID 2008 Region IV Conference Information

Just a few words to explain a little about this message. TSID (Texas
Society of Interpreters for the Deaf) is hosting the RID Region IV
conference in conjunction with their own annual conference in Houston,
Texas on June 25-29, 2008. We, as members of KAI-RID, are a part of
RID Region IV, and it would be great if several members of our
organization stepped up to work with them as either a committee
member or a presenter. You can find out more information below.

Hello all,

The Call for Committee members and the Call for Presenters are now
posted on the
TSID website (tsid.org).

We need representation from all of Region IV on the committees. Please
encourage your members to respond.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Chris Grooms
President, TSID

KSD needs your time and/or talents donated to the Silent and Live

Any way you can help would be great! They are accepting gift certificates
to local stores and restaurants, materials to package items (cellophane,
containers, ribbon), or certificates for services you are able to provide.

You might also consider asking for donations from businesses you
regularly support. Your mechanic, dentist, lawn company, car dealer, golf
club, bank, favorite restaurant, grocery store, hardware store (the list
could go on and on) may be more than willing to donate a gift certificate
to their store or for their services.
