Please take a look at the Word file at the top of this page for the complete listing of workshops available at the conference. You will notice that all of the workshops are broken down into 1½ hour session; however, the actual time of each workshop varies in length. Pay special attention to how many parts there are to the workshop. Out of respect for the presenter and other conference attendees, we request that you stay for the entirety of the workshop. Priority will be given to conference attendees that attended the initial part(s) of the session.
CLOTHING SWAP
Getting tired of the same old clothes? Please bring items you think others will value but that you no longer wear, then swap! It is essential that items are cleaned and presented neatly! Clothes left at the end of the evening will be donated to a local charity.
Our fashion show on Saturday night will feature our very own conference attendees! It will be an eye-opening lesson on what to wear and what not to wear on assignment.
Also featuring, our very own clothing swap. The clothing swap will take place right after the fashion show.
We are in need of a few on-call interpreters, to accommodate our on- site conference attendees. You can request to be on-call for the entire day or just for an hour and a half or so. On-call interpreters are paid $2.00/hour for being on-call ($30/hour if their services are needed). Interpreters must be KQAS Level 4/5 or equivalent. Please contact Molly Pourhussin at interpreters@kai-rid.org if you are interested.
